Storyline

Nira, an amateur poet and teacher of a kindergarten in Tel Aviv, lives in a world that does not appreciate the artistic expression and where sensitive souls do not stand a chance. When one of his students, 5 year old Yoav, recites a surprising unrequited love poem, Nira digs a little and realizes that those verses are entirely of his own making. Stunned and motivated by what the child writes, she decides to stimulate and protect his talent, trying to save him from the banality and mediocrity of their society. She then establishes a special connection with the boy, generating a destructive relationship due to her questionable actions. This is the story of a “Don Quixotic” woman who embarks on saving her culture through the poetry of a reflective child who has no desire to be saved.
