Nanni Moretti - Italy - 2015
Margherita is a politicly compromised film director, who is about to separate from Vitorrio, an actor with whom she has a teenage daughter. Her mother, who is gravely sick at the hospital and the current complications arising from her separation start taking a toll on the entire family. At the same time, she is shooting a film with the famous American actor Barry Huggins, who is quite a headache on set. Away from the shoot, Margherita tries to hold her life in the middle of an existential crisis, with her mother’s sickness and her teenage’s daughter disobedience as main triggers.
