Synopsis
A man leaves Mexico City for the remote countryside to prepare his own death. In the heart of an inmense canyon he finds lodging with an old widow in her humble home. He then confronts the power of nature and the woman's infinite humanity. His dulled senses return to him, reawakening his desire for life.
